Alok Bhanot Named ParkourSC Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Today, I’m thrilled to welcome Alok Bhanot as our Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. We’ve waited patiently for the right person to fill this critical, highly strategic role at the company. Our announcement comes at a time when digital transformation has become an absolute necessity for companies worldwide that have seen their supply chains severely disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Alok will play a critical role in architecting our platform to deliver new business value and the massive scale needed in the global supply chain.

At ParkourSC, we’ve seen a year of accelerated momentum, with significant adoption of our Digital Visibility Platform in many industries; this growth has been driven by the need to improve supply chain visibility and customer experience at a product level throughout the journey, from factories to customers’ hands. Clearly, supply chain disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic have magnified the need to digitize and capitalize on the unique value delivered by the ParkourSC platform.

A seasoned technology and business leader, Alok has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as eBay and PayPal, as well as Verifone, Visa, Inkiru and Qopper. His impressive background includes building highly scalable platforms, systems and services for e-commerce, risk modeling, payment transactions, real-time predictive analytics and IoT-based operations systems. Alok’s strong experience in hyper-scale data architectures, modern cloud technologies, AI/ML and analytics has enabled him to manage operations at scale reaching 100 Billion transactions/year and 30M+ devices across 150 countries.

Alok has a strong vision for the role our Digital Visibility Platform will play in solving today’s supply chain issues and in creating a blueprint for the future. He’ll play an integral role in driving that vision forward by expanding our platform to meet the challenges of deriving real-time insights from massive amounts of enterprise, contextual and IoT sensor data, through decision support and automation.
