This will be a key lead position that provides next-generation automation, monitoring, deployment platform in a public-cloud environment. This self-driven individual will set a continuous delivery approach to enable a fast-paced DevOps/Production Engineering environment. Responsibilities
  • Work as a key member of high-performance team and build/run cloud native operations infrastructure
  • Architecture and implementation of next-gen DevOps engineering with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Build new environments from scratch in AWS using Kubernetes/Docker, Lambda and native services
  • Build Infrastructure and Stack Components with Automation Tools, Terraform
  • Scale and performance tune various application cluster components
  • Plan system upgrades, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting
  • DevOps security auditing for external and internal access policies
Qualifications
  • Must: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering
  • Must: 5+ years of hands-on experience in running enterprise applications in cloud environments
  • Must: Extensive experience and deep understanding of Linux, Kubernetes and Docker 
  • Must: Strong hands-on experience with various Amazon AWS cloud technologies (VPC, EC2, S3, Route53, ELB)
  • Familiar with application deployments using Apache/Tomcat, ZooKeeper, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Cassandra, ElasticSearch and Spark
  • Hands-on experience with terraform / any automations and configuration management tools
  • Able to use latest K8S operators for all stack components, additional advantage
  • Cassandra database administration with automated backup and recovery models
  • Auto scaling of applications through continuous monitoring and health check
  • Build continuous delivery model using tools like Jenkins 
  • Linux scripting skills to develop code deployment and monitoring of systems
  • Able to work on High Availability production environments and support global teams
